Moreau River Sanctuary is located in the north western part of South Dakota. One hundred and fifty  miles north of Rapid  City, (Black Hills of S.D.), and One hundred and fifty  miles south of  Bismarck, N.D. both of these cities have commercial airports. There are also 3 small airports with paved  run ways with in 45 miles for private travel.

Turn By Turn

From Isabel SD Head west on Hwy 20 for 3 miles

Turn Left on SD Hwy 65 for 12 miles

Turn left on gravel road (next to small tree grove)

Drive ½ mile east take curve to right one mile south

From Dupree SD

Head east on Hwy 212 for 2 miles

Turn left on SD Hwy 65 for 13 miles

Turn right on gravel road (next to small tree grove)

Drive ½ mile east take curve to right one mile south
